The new Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured features a number of contemporary enhancements that are quite popular with professional musicians. What changes are we talking about?

Let's start with a lighter mahogany body fitted with a AAA figured maple top. And also from the neck with SlimTaper profile, created just in time for faster guitar parts.

The fingerboard is made of ebony and its radius has been adjusted for a lower and cleaner action.

The neck and body combination is a Modern Contoured Heel design. It provides both easier access to the highest frets and maximum sustain and stability.

The choice of hardware and electronics has been refined. Thus, the guitar's component set includes Grover Rotomatic keys, Clear Top Hat knobs and Burstbucker Pro and Burstbucker Pro+ pickups.

There are four push-pull potentiometers on board to switch between Gibson humbucker and single-coil P-90 tones, along with a Pure Bypass/Phase setting for extra variety.
