The Talman model is one of Ibanez's more interesting vintage-style designs, which seems to be the complete opposite of the modern RG or SR shapes. The Talman TMB30 is a budget-friendly bass guitar characterised by very good build quality and a wide sound range. The instrument is equipped with P/J pickups, which allow you to reach for warm, firm tones, mild jazz-style points and powerful and aggressive ones that are a combination of two pickups. The TMB30 is a short scale guitar - 30" - which makes it a great learning instrument for children or people with smaller hands. Keep in mind, however, that short-scale basses sound softer and warmer than full-scale instruments.
