Ibanez BTB846V-ABL Antique Brown Stained Low Gloss

The Ibanez BTB846V is an unusual variation of the traditional BTB series model. This six-string bass guitar features a solid monolithic construction and is equipped with an active circuit, based on Bartolini BH2 pickups - guaranteeing a very wide tonal palette and exceptionally long decay. The instrument, which bears the "V" mark, belongs to the Volo family designed by Ibanez Bass Workshop, featuring a shortened censer - 33". This treatment significantly improves playing comfort, while retaining many of the features of a traditional BTB (BTB models are famous for their long 35" censer). The guitar is still of considerable size and weight, but the shorter censer and minimally shorter string spacing (16.5mm) will appeal to bassists with smaller hands.
