The result of many years of research, the Ibanez AZ series of electric guitars has gained considerable popularity among professional guitarists since its launch. Described as the next stage in the evolution of the electric guitar, the AZ models offer the latest technological solutions in combination with proven and well-loved features. The Japanese manufacturer continues to expand the range of available models and among the novelties for 2021 are guitars marked with the AZS symbol. These guitars, while remaining faithful to the AZ idea, refer to the classic form of the telecaster model - both in terms of construction and choice of pickups. On board, we find specially designed Seymour Duncan Magic Touch-mini and Seymour Duncan® Alnico II Pro Custom pickups, which in combination with the patented dyna-MIX5 switch system, guarantee a full tonal range with top class characteristics. The AZS2200 has a body made of ash wood and a neck and fingerboard made of baked maple, prepared with S-TECH WOOD technology. The guitar features a Gotoh® F1803 fixed bridge, Gotoh locking keys and stainless steel frets. As with all models from the Prestige line, the instrument comes with a professional hard case.
