Ibanez High Performance are established Ibanez guitar models in a new edition, equipped with top branded hardware. The Ibanez RGA line of electric guitars is an alternative variant of the extremely popular RG series. What distinguishes the RGA models is the contoured front body. Other aspects of the guitar closely follow the specifications of the RG guitars and, in the case of the RGA42 model, the RG421. The most important features definitely include a neck with a flat, racing profile and, what is characteristic for the HP variant, DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups, which can be found in the highest models. The guitar is also equipped with a baked maple neck and a proprietary tremolo bridge, which guarantees tuning stability and smooth operation.

Jatoba Fretboard

Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.

Luminescent side dot inlays

The luminescent side dot position marks make it easy for players to see fretboard position marks when performing on dark stages.

Coil-tap switch

The coil tap switch adds sound and tonal variations for both pickups.

DiMarzio Fusion Edge Pickups

Through close collaboration between Ibanez and DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups have been engineered to produce a powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end, minus any muddy mid-range.
