The treble strings are made of colorless nylon, while the bass strings have a uniform nylon core and a silver-plated copper wrapping. This classic combination provides a traditional sound, and the carefully selected thickness of the strings gives them a medium tension. The sound is balanced - expressive in the higher registers and definitely fuller in the lower tones.
