With the Mercury Flanger Source Audio has not only created an astonishing array of flanging sounds ranging from subtle to overwhelming in a handy stompbox. If one looks beneath the surface of the enclosure using the Neuro App, an entire world of sound, seemingly without limits opens up. Not only does the Mercury offer three very well designed presets, amongst which one will find the sought after thru-zero a.k.a. tape flanging. There is also the option to connect the pedal to your smartphone to control a multitude of further effects parameters and save them in the three preset slots. The user also gets access to a vast and ever increasing collection of presets or can create their own sounds which are not at all limited to mere flanging.
