Load any sample of a standard SD or SDHC card, and then assign it to any of the responsive illuminated pressure pads. You can use MPX8 in the studio, live and on the air during the broadcast. MPX8 supports MIDI, either via USB as well as the typical MIDI input and output. Control your music software on your laptop or external MIDI hardware. Using the included software editor sets of samples for Mac or PC, you can - before loading the samples to MPX8 - organize them and tune, and add to them the reverb effect. Drag-and-drop editor will save you a lot of time, because it instantly converts the sample to the appropriate WAV. Along with MPX8 you get a large library of samples and a free downloadable loop collection from Akai Pro, which you can use during performances before an audience, radio programs and in your own studio productions. You can always take MPX8 everywhere with you - it is compact and easy to use. All the sounds you need are available at convenient pads. The device is a solid and typical for Akai Pro design, which gives you quick and easy access to a virtually unlimited number of samples, loops, parties and effects. It is really that simple.
